The 6th Global Wenzhouese International Symposium is to be jointly hosted by the Research Center of the Global Wenzhouese, Wenzhouese Economy Research Institute, Wenzhou Public Diplomacy Association and Wenzhou University on 25th25th-
27th November, 2016. The College of International Cooperation will undertake the symposium. The 6th Global Wenzhouese International Symposium will be held in Wenzhou University (Chashan University Town, Wenzhou City). The field of Overseas Wenzhouese and overseas Chinese education will come together to connect and learn at the symposium.Research institutes, scholars and overseas Wenzhouese are welcomed to come to the symposium. We hereby notify the relevant issues of the symposium as follows:
1.Theme and forums of the symposium
The theme of the symposium this year is ‘Overseas Wenzhouese and the new development of Wenzhou’. Two forums are included in the symposium:
1.1 The network of Wenzhou business people & ‘one belt one road’.
Reference topics as following:
(1) The relationship between overseas Chinese, Chinese businessmen and ‘one belt one road’ construction
(2) Overseas Wenzhouese’s role in ‘one belt one road’ construction
(3) The global Wenzhouese interaction and ‘one belt one road’

5.2 Experts and Scholars: the symposium will invite delegations from prestigious universities such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Renmin University of China, Jinan University. Famous foreign universities such as Santa Barbara Campus of University of California, University of San Francisco, University of Siena, University of Florence, Monash University, etc. will be invited too. The symposium will welcome relevant scholars and people from all fields;

No conference fee. Food expenses and accommodation are covered by the host.
Traveling expenses are not covered.

Chinese, English (Interpreting between Chinese and English will be provided)
6.3 Due dates
We are inviting papers for the symposium.
Please send the Application Form (attachment) to wzucic@126.com by 15th August, 2016. Title and summary of the paper are needed. Your paper will be reviewed later and you will be notified.
